No.2(1999)7.Nonflammable fiuid with the EDM of electroconductive ceramic and metal

We investigated non-flammable fluid of the EDM(electrical discharge machining)of TiB2,as electro-conductive ceramics and SKS3. The results are as follows:
- The working speed of non-flammable fluid and water were faster than that of Oil and TiB2.
- The electrode wear ratio of non-flammable fluid and water were smaller than of Oil and TiB2.
- There was no difference in the average roughness(Ra) of all fluid and TiB2.
- SKS3 did not make good use of non-flammable fluid and water all this condition.
